Granite Design have launched the Stash Chain Tool designed to live in the empty space inside your bars for those drive train trail fixes.
If you’re one of those riders that likes to get your pack weight low or non-existent, then Granite Design have got just the tool for you.
Their new Stash Chain Tool lives in your handlebars, making the most of that empty space.

Stash Chain Tool fits handlebars with 18 to 21mm orifice and a 10cm straight section at the bar end. It can be installed with a one-sided or two-side locking grip.
Compatible with handlebars that have an inner diameter larger than 18mm and a 10cm straight section at the bar end. The corresponding side caps for both configurations are included in the package. Stash chain tool is fixed by compressing the rubber ring by a 3mm hex wrench.
With a 7075 alloy construction, the total weight is 52g. It also comes with a Quick-link storage space at the side of the chain tool.
Retail price will be around the £20.00 mark and will be available by mid-April 2019.
