The UCI has announced an eight-round 2022 World Cup season with Les Gets hosting the World Championships in August.
France will host both the opening round of the 2022 UCI Downhill World Cup in Lourdes as well as the World Championships in Les Gets, with the World Cup series running eight rounds, with one round to be decided.
With Maribor and Lousa hosting double-headers in 2020, it’s unlikely they will host another round, but who knows.
Where would you like the World Cup circuit to go? Schladming has to be high on the list, Champery would certainly sort the wheat from the chaff… Meribel certainly turned it on too… Pila never failed to disappoint either… Maybe Grouse Mountain for an old school return?
