Designed with an increased mechanical and hydraulic ratio, the new Tech 4 master cylinder from Hope aims to be the best of the bunch when it comes to controllable power. A roller bearing at the lever pivot is designed to increase that smooth feel, while the redesigned internal seals reduce friction within the system.
Hope claim that the pressure for a given force is up 30% on the Tech 3 lever.
A new hinged bar clamp reduces weight, while the reservoir area has been increased to reduce the stack height of the master cylinder itself. Shifter integration is now markedly improved too.
Lateral adjustment on either side of Tech 4 give a wider range of lever position options while still offering retaining the tool free bite point and reach adjustments from the Tech 3.
