The DirtFund Project and Vitus Bikes have teamed up to offer two riders a dream package to help them onto the next step.
If you’re looking to make the next step in your racing, then you might want to consider applying for a spot on the The DirtFund Project Vitus Privateer Programme. Applications are now open and will run until March 31st.
The DirtFund Project team are delighted to announce their first major brand collaboration –
a key partnership with UK-based bike maker, Vitus.
The DirtFund Project Vitus Privateer Programme will see two riders, one male and one
female, supported for the 2022 Race season with a brand-new Vitus bike, choosing from
the Sommet, Dominer, or E-Sommet models.
Riders will also get to keep the bike at the end of season. Additionally, the successful
riders will also receive Strength Factory coaching and Muc-Off kit to wear.
In order to be in contention, riders must be UK/Irish Enduro, eEnduro, or DH riders
currently competing in the EWS, eEWS, or UCI Downhill World Cup, in qualifiers for these
races, or in their respective National Series.
The DirtFund Project Founder Daniel O’Shea commented: ‘It’s just over a year since The
DirtFund Project idea sparked in my head and it’s all exploded so quickly! It’s amazing to
have Vitus on board to offer a new type of opportunity to UK and Irish privateer racers.’
Alex James, of Vitus added: “The Vitus team are super stoked to be working with the
legends at The DirtFund on such an exciting project. Supporting privateers is something
that we are passionate about, and we can’t wait to get started.”
The two project partners believe this to be a unique chance for two ambitious riders to
each have a fully specced Vitus Bikes rig for the race season ahead, this is a major
opportunity for two privateer racers fighting to make a name for themselves in 2022.
Applications will open 9th March 2022 and close on 31st March 2022. The two chosen
riders will be informed by 30th April 2022.
