The New Airdrop Filter | Everything You Need to Know.

Airdrop Bikes follow up their inaugural full suspension, the Edit, with a shorter travel machine in the form of the 135mm travel, 27.5″-wheeled Filter.

A cursory glance at the new Airdrop Filter shows that it draws some serious inspiration from its bigger brother, the Edit. Sporting 135mm rear wheel travel and 27.5″ wheels only, the Filter should be a riot on the trails.

Airdrop’s new Filter might be the Edit’s younger brother but that doesn’t mean it can’t handle whatever you have to throw at it. 135mm rear wheel travel is offered via a linkage driven single pivot, with ability to run either air or coil shocks. The Filter is designed around a 150mm fork.

A 6061 alloy frame produces a very similar silhouette to the Edit too. The Filter is 27.5″ only. No Mullet or 29″ wheel options here. You get a Boost rear end with a CNC’d rear axle and some simple, yet effective external cable routing.

Three complete bikes are available, the Luxe, Deluxe and Works, starting at £3,099 for the Luxe and rising to £4,099 for the Works. Multiple frame options are available. No shock or a choice four others depending on your budget. Size range runs from Small to XLarge.

Geometry

Reach on the Medium Filter is 455mm mated to a 425mm seat tube. Head angle is 65 degrees with a 74.5 degree actual seat post angle. Chainstay length is 430mm across the sizes, with the wheelbase on the Medium at 1199.3mm.
