South Wales-based LiteLok have updated their X series of D-locks claiming class-leading protection against angle grinders.
LiteLok aim to up the ante when it comes to protection for your push irons with their new X series of locks, featuring some material that isn’t very friendly to angle grinders.
LiteLok’s new X1 and X3 D-locks feature hardened, fine-grain, high-tensile steel core to provide inner strength against bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels while the Barronium that is permanently fused to this core is designed to wear down angle grinder discs.
The outer is made of soft, plant-based, eco-rubber that won’t damage your paint work but is also cut-resistant. The LiteLok X range has passed Sold Secure Bicycle Diamond, Sold Secure Motorcycle Diamond and ART4 insurance-rated standards. It also meets the ‘Police Preferred Specification’ of Secured by Design (SBD), providing the best available deterrent for cyclists.
