Dyfi Wild Ride Opens Its Account Saturday July 1st.

Dyfi Wild Ride is a new event that takes in the very best of what the infamous Dyfi Valley has to offer the mountain biker.

Based on the best riding the Dyfi locals know and love, Dyfi Wild Ride has its inaugural event this Saturday 1st July.

Route options will be 20 or 30km, with “tasty” (according to our sources) descents on the return leg. Yes, you’ll get a time, no, it won’t be laser accurate, but you will get a marshalled route that takes in the best this corner of Wales has to offer.

The Dyfi is now known across the World, but did you know this area has over thirty years of mountain bike heritage hidden in its hills?

Keen to share the secrets “beyond the bike park”, Community Trail Company DyfiMTB are stoked to launch a brand new MTB event – a modern mashup of what local riders have consider the very best trails over many years.

Our spectacular route covers everything we think makes a great day on the bike. Big climbs under big skies; singletrack snaking through ancient woodland; enduro descents in deep hidden forest. This event has it all.

Resident Dyfi guide and coach, Rikki Barratt, said:

“An old-school “big wild ride” meets new-school steep natural tech; it’s the evolution of mountain biking in one ride that you will never forget!”

DyfiMTB are about the socialising as much as the riding, so we’ve got great coffee at sign on and you’re all invited back to the rugby club for refreshments and a band after the ride. Grab your riding buddies and make it a day in Mach. And best of all, all proceeds go straight back to local good causes and to help maintain the trails.

Numbers are strictly limited to 300, so enter now to secure your place.
