Specialized’s reprisal of the P-series hardtails now sport three different wheel sizes and four different models to suit anyone from kids to adult dirt jumpers.
Regardless of where you’re at in your journey with pump tracks, blue runs and dirt jumps, the new Specialized P-series will have something to suit.
Based around an A1 Premium alloy frame, the new P-series from Specialized aims to offer a range of bikes to anyone looking to progress their riding on the pumptrack, trails or dirt jumps, regardless of their age.
Starting at 20″ wheels and a rigid fork on the P.1, rising to 24″ wheels and a Manitou J-Unit Comp fork on the P.2, 27.5″ wheels on both the P.3 and P.4 with just a change of fork. All bikes come as single speed but can take a gear hanger for 9-11 speed drive trains. Cable routing is internal regardless of model. Each model comes in a single size, spec and wheel size offering.
With the preference for just running a rear brake flying in the face of the requirement to fit two, the P-series comes with a cheaper, mechanical front disc, with a SRAM Level T rear. The remainder of the spec is mostly Specialized’s own alloy offerings, with some kids’ specific kit on the P.1.
