The New Orbea Occam LT | Everything You Need to Know.

The bigger brother to the Occam SL, Orbea’s Occam LT is a blend between the outgoing Occam and the enduro focused Rallon.

Sporting longer travel and more aggressive angles than its predecessor, the new Orbea Occam LT is quite the machine.

The new Occam LT from Orbea is quite the beast. You can check out Pete’s review of the Orbea Occam LT M10 here.

Sporting a longer fork than the outgoing Occam at 160mm gives some insight to its intentions. You also get options to fit a DHX2 coil shock from Fox too. The Occam LT runs on 29″ wheels only too. Head angle drops 1.5 degrees with the sizes growing in reach and sitting at 25mm increments apart.

Frame weight drops 40g compared to the outgoing Occam at 2250g for the M carbon fibre frame. Full dropper insertion thanks to the Steep n Deep seat tube, meaning you can opt for a size either side of your suggested size and 230mm droppers are available in MyO. The eccentric flip chip is adjustable with a 6mm allen key, conveniently located in the rear axle. LockR storage keeps the critical spares stowed away too.

Compared to the Occam SL, the Occam LT is very much designed to help you winch up a mountain and bomb back down it. Everything on the longer travel Occam is designed for comfort in the rough and at speed. If you’re after something with the angles and suspension to make light work of the big days out but you’re not looking to rally big enduro trails, then the Occam LT is just the ticket.

Five bikes are available, three carbon fibre and two alloy. The range kicks off at ยฃ3,499.00 for the Occam LT H30, rising to the Occam SL M-Team at ยฃ8,599.00.
