Both the Norco Sight and Optic get a fresh silhouette courtesy of the new Virtual Pivot Suspension | High Pivot platform.
With their new VPS HP (Virtual Pivot Suspension | High Pivot) layout, the Norco Optic and Sight offer 125mm and 150mm rear wheel travel, carbon fibre and alloy options, with only the full 29″ bikes coming to the UK.
Both of the new bikes on offer from Norco have taken the Range’s high pivot design and adapted them to a more pedal efficient package. The Optic being the most efficient of the two, whilst the Sight is still aimed at some serious business.
The beating heart of these two new bikes is the Virtual Pivot Suspension | High Pivot platform, aimed at improving rearward axle path compared to their outgoing namesakes. The idler has been attached to the chainstay to fine tune anti-squat and pedal efficiency, whilst also managing chain growth and pedal feedback.
The Sight comes with 150mm rear wheel travel, paired with a 160mm fork, whilst the Optic goes for a shorter 125mm/140mm combination. Only the 29″ models will be available at present in the UK with two of the Sight and one Optic models, as well as a carbon fibre frame option for both.
Sizing is numbered 1-5, 1 being the smallest and 5 being the largest. Reach on the Sight in Size 3 is 472.5mm with a seat tube of 385mm. Head angle is 64 degrees with an effective seat tube angle of 77.5 degrees. Chainstays are size specific and on the 3 are 434mm with a 1253mm wheelbase.

UK available Sights will come in C2 and A1 flavours at £6,499.00 and £5,999.00 respectively. The sole Optic model will be the C2 at £6,999.00. Frames will be carbon only with the Sight C at £3,999.00 and the Optic C at £3,799.00.
