Following the 303DH and the 575 25th anniversary bikes, the 30th anniversary SB6 and the 35th anniversary ARC comes the 40th anniversary Yeti ASR with a nod to their 90s racers in this special edition bike. Only 200 will be made, and only 10 will come to the UK.
Fork travel gets bumped to 130mm to make this ASR a bit more of a trail machine and there’s a serious amount of violet anodising about this bike. All the bikes will be numbered out of 100 too. Chris King have been working with Yeti since the beginning, so their legendary bottom bracket and headsets feature whilst the SRAM XX drive has some custom violet anodising. Rocker link, spokes and stem all come in a high polish to offset the violet and Turq. Original ODI purple Yeti grips return and are complemented by Turq hot patches on the Maxxis Forekaster tyres.
All in all this is a very special version of Yeti’s 115mm 29″ cross country and trail weapon that comes in at a similar asking price to the production top spec ASR, the ASR Ultimate. The main difference being the Rockshox Flight Attendant dampers on the production model.
