Poland certainly turned it up for the opening round of the 2025 UCI Downhill World Cup, but we’re still unsure if anyone had snow on their bingo card.
Bielsko-Biala provided an exciting stage for the first downhill World Cup under the new team and race rules. Snow fell during finals making things especially interesting, with visibility reduced for many.
Plenty of big names didn’t make Q1 either, throwing yet more spanners into the works. With nobody protected this year, it’s certainly going to make for interesting overall title races.
