Oh boy did Loudenvielle deliver for round two of the 2025 UCI Downhill World Cup. Fast, dusty and with plenty of winds for finals and crashes galore.
Loudenvielle this year was in stark contrast to the mudder that was 2024 with the track turning sandy it was so loose come finals. The storms in the forecast failed to materialise for race day and times were tight.
Elite Women
The Elite Women are not mucking about. The winning time would be three seconds faster than the Q1 winning time, and three seconds faster than second place.
Elite Men
The Elite Men’s race was stacked. Times were super tight all weekend with less than ten seconds separating the top 22 in finals.
