If you head over to the Santa Cruz pits at the Fort William World Cup, you’ll no doubt see some very different-looking V10c prototypes.
Details certainly aren’t abundant, but Loris Vergier and Luca Shaw will be racing this weekend on all-new Santa Cruz V10c.
What can we deduce from the bike though? It’s carbon other than the rocker links and it’s being raced, so it’s a fairly advanced prototype. We expect it’s been ridden hard all winter to get it to this point.
Seat tube height is relatively low compared to previous offerings and the head angle is suitably slack. Loris is running an Fox X2 air shock on the new bike. Cable routing is internal in the front triangle but external on the rear.
Will we see Loris and Luca on the box this weekend?
Stay tuned for more from the Fort William World Cup all weekend here.
