The Strength Factory have released a video as a result of the shoulder area this week being identified as the area most likely to become injured in enduro mountain bike racing.
The Enduro World Series conducted the largest ever rider health survey over 2 seasons of racing and analysed data from hundreds of riders to truly understand the risks that they take.
The EWS end the report with several recommendations, including this one…
“Provision for and rider use of shoulder pre-habilitation and rehabilitation training exercises to help reduce the number, and/or severity of significant shoulder injuries.”
In response to this The Strength Factory wanted to make a video to help you reduce the risk of shoulder injuries when mountain biking. In part 2 we will cover how to develop more robust shoulders.
