Every man and his dog offers a tubeless repair kit, but Stan’s have come up with their own take that works with their sealant for better results.
Stan’s aim to make tubeless punctures 5cm or larger in size easily fixed with their new Stan’s Dart system that provides both a mechanical and chemical seal rather than simply plugging the hole with a vulcanised ‘worm’.

Unlike most tubeless plug tools, Stan’s Dual Action Repair for Tubeless (DART) tool also reacts with Stan’s sealant and is designed to better fill the puncture and create an airtight seal.
Dart features a barbed plastic tip that secures the insert and fills the puncture or cut, while a compound reacts with Stan’s sealant, designed to create the fastest, easiest, and most reliable solution for tubeless puncture repairs for all types of tyre.
Dart’s ability to react with latex sealant aims to makes it more effective than most plugs. Dart’s plastic tip is barbed to keep it secure and stay put during hard riding. The insert does not require trimming, and will wear away with normal riding.
The DART Tool, including two loaded Darts, weighs only 15g. This is in part because the rod that presses DARTs into punctures is made of carbon. Both the DART Tool (£25.00) and DART Refill (£20.00) will be available in late October.
The DART Tools come with a limited lifetime warranty.
