Pearce Cycles Rd3 Results – Rhyd-Y-Felin

pbpic3675122How good is the Pearce Series? Great tracks, great uplifts, great vibe. No wonder every round sells out in about 5 minutes! Racing went down this weekend at the best track on the Pearce circuit - Rhyd-y-Felin. Marc Beaumont won for the chaps, Tracy Moseley won for the ladies and junior Harry Heath AGAIN kicked a lot of elites asses landing in 6th. Severed Alliance – Wideopen exclusive

logothumbA couple of weeks ago I got a mysterious email from 'Will Notsay' from something called 'Severed Alliance'. Turns out that the Alliance are protyping a range of slick, light and hi-tech street parts. Alongside the components they've got a completely revolutionary new tubing that promises to be 30% stronger than the double butted tubes we're all running. Interesting. NPSDHRd3 Ft Bill Results – Cathro and Carpenter take it

dsc_2158Round 3 of the NPSDH went down last weekend at Ft Bill with Ben Cathro and Manon Carpenter taking the top spots. Well done to Ben but holy shit - how good is Manon Carpenter? She's not even an elite and she beat EVERY elite female and placed 178th overall beating a lot of chaps. Read on for results......

fastlane Turns out Glastonbury wasn't the only thing going on this weekend. Whilst half the universe were getting baked and listening to Neil Young, the BMX crowd were battling it out down at Cheddar at the EUC Champs. Fort Bill 2010 World Cup Dates

dsc_6399-largeWow - busy week for Ft Bill news. The lovely ladies at the World Cup press team just sent over the series dates for 2010. The Bill is going to host DH and 4X World Cup racing again next year, taking place on 5th and 6th June. There's also going to be an XC World Cup Round at Dalby on 24th/25th April.

Maribor World Cup Round Up

Now who would've believed that? Fabien on the top spot of the podium. He was even running two different knee pads, one to fit around his knee support. The man is made of steel! He came down early and sat on the truck for what seemed like an age. Steve Peat punctured halfway down, Gee had a crash in the woods, Sam Hill had a few sketchy moments which effected his time.. Wideopen team rider Steve just turned up at my gaff after a weekend at the Hardtail Champs. Ben Deakin took home the infamous denim vest and is now the UK hardtail champ. Ben Baker took 2nd fresh back from a broken neck and 3rd to a local fella called Andy Payne (we think). Steve bagged 5th place - good work fella! ...
